What is a Canvas Photo?
Canvas photos are personal photos that do not require a traditional frame, but can come with an option of a frame.
The printed canvas image is stretched on a wooden frame, stapled from the back allowing you to transform your cherished memories into a unique, beautifully finished piece of personalized photo on canvas.
Your images are printed on our high-quality cotton fabric with our new Epson 9880 printer for breathtaking colour fidelity and lifelike image resolution.
All our canvases are wrapped over a pine wooden frame, either 0.75" or 1.75" thick. The canvas is stapled from the back so that no side staples are visible.
The full finished stretched masterpiece is ready to display right out of the box.
Can you make my image look better?
Yes, image setup and enhancement is free with each order.
Can you make my image black & white?
Yes, we can easily transform your photo into a black and white or sepia image as well.
My image has red eye, can I still use it?
Yes, we remove red eye where we can on all our canvas prints at no charge.
Can I add text to my photo?
Text can be placed on a photo at a cost of $15.
How do I use my own digital image?
If you want us to make a print from a picture you took with a digital camera, you can just upload the file to our server OR you can provide us with the digital image on a CD or your camera's digital card or a flash drive.
Please do not print out a digital photograph and mail it to us to scan because our ability to create a quality image will be limited by the quality of your printer.
I haven't taken the picture yet, what should my camera settings be?
Set your camera at the highest setting to create the largest files possible. Save the file as a .jpg or .tiff with no compression.
Please note that we cannot print a digital image saved from the web.
Do you have enlargement software to ensure a high-quality print?
Yes, we use enlargement software that sometimes allows us to go larger than what would otherwise be possible with basic photo editing programs.
We can enlarge the photo to the size that you desire and we will let you know the quality
and then you can decide whether or not you would like us to continue.
Can I use a traditional printed photograph?
Yes, we can use a photograph that you have. The better the quality of the image the better the final picture.
Feel free to use what you have and we can see what we can do to enhance it.
We can basically enlarge a photograph 4 times the size of the original and we can touch up a photo
to make it a beautiful piece of art.
For example, we can enlarge a regular 4x6 photograph to a 16x24 print and maintain decent quality.
Our scanner can scan a photograph up to 8.5x14 inches, and larger images can be photographed
and then printed.
How much does it cost?
You can review the prices and available options under the order tab.
How much does shipping cost?
Your canvas will be shipped via CanPar. Shipping and handling costs are calculated as 20% of the total price of the printed canvas. Due to CanPar's limitations, orders over 40 inches must be shipped by other means. Please call for a quote on these orders.
